Our FAQ section is filled with answers to the most common questions you as a customer will probably have. Some of the questions here are not so frequently asked, but our answers might help with some of the many projects you may have for us. This is an ever-expanding knowledge base for us as well as you. If you ask us a question we haven't come across yet, we'll try to answer it here soon. And just so you know, none of the questions here are existential in nature. 1.0 About Floppy's

What are your services?  1.0 About Floppy's Where are you located? We are located prominently on the corner of 21st and J at 2031 J st. Sacramento, CA 95814, right next to the Subway and across from the bridal salon shop. For specific street directions, below is a link to Yahoo! Maps. 
What are your hours? We are open monday through friday from 8am till 5:30pm. We are NOT open on the weekends.
Are you hiring? We are always accepting applications. You may come in and fill one out at the store, or email your resume as a Word doc attachment.
2.0 Computer questions What file formats can you use? We prefer documents to be in pdf format, but we can read most anything. And while we have only PC computers, they can read Mac disks. Mac users: Be sure to put a file extension on all files you send or bring in on disk ("nameoffile.pdf" or "nameofgraphic.jpg", etc.) This includes fonts. For additional information on pdf and Acrobat, click the Adobe link below.  
What computer applications do you have? Our current software is as follows:
Can I print digital pictures? Absolutely! Bring them in saved in jpeg or tif format and we'll have no problem printing them out. We can print up to 11x17 (see color prices). 4x6 picutres are .50 cents each.
3.0 Copy and print questions Do you have self-service machines? Yes we do.
Do you make poster-sized prints? Not at this time.
How big can you print? 11x17 on most stocks. 12x18 on 24# laser.
Can you print on any stock of paper I bring in? No - not all stocks will run in our machines. Please call and check at (916) 446-3475.
Can you do off-set printing? All our printing is done by high-speed laser printers. When making quantities ranging in the thousands, our prices can be competitive with offset press. If you're needing quantities in the tens of thousands or higher, we suggest you go with an offset printer.
4.0 Service-related questions What're your services? Check in the Pricing and services section. Our various services are listed there along with the prices.
Do you give quotes? Check the Pricing and Services section. We don't vary much from these prices, but if you've got a very large order then call in and see about working out a price.
Do you make business cards? Yes we do, in both black and white and in full color. Check the Business card pricing in the Pricing and Services section for cost and description of services.
Do you make greeting cards?
Yes we do. Pricing varies by size of card. We do personalized greeting cards in any quantity - great for the
holidays or special functions. Layout charge is $5 to $10 depending on type of card.

Why can't you read my mind? Because that tin foil hat you're wearing is blocking my mind rays.
Are you affiliated with FedEx? No.
Can you mail out packages? Sorry. There is no mailing service at this time. However, there are drop boxes outside completely unrelated to us.
Do you pick up or deliver? Yes, we can. Call in and see about this service.
Can one of your employees show me how to (name of task) on the computer? Sorry! Our computers and the software on them are all self-serve. Since we are a digital copy and print store, our knowledge is based around printing from applications and nothing else.
Do you fax? Do you fax internationally? Yes we do fax at one dollar per sheet (coversheet is free if you use ours). If you have an international fax, we require you to have the exact number and country code you are going to call.
